Where do I find a sitter's contact information?

For privacy reasons, Rover doesn’t display a sitter’s contact information until you’ve booked with them.

If you’ve started a conversation on Rover with a sitter or dog walker but haven’t yet booked a service, they may choose to share their phone number and address with you—especially if you decide to arrange a Meet & Greet. Remember you can call or text the sitter or dog walker using their Rover number. Rover numbers allow pet owners and sitters to call and text each other while keeping their actual phone numbers private. Unique Rover numbers are assigned to each pet parent/sitter relationship.

To begin a conversation, go to the sitter’s profile page and select the Contact button.

After Booking

After you‘ve booked and paid for a service, you can find your sitter’s contact information on the itinerary. You’ll get a confirmation email after booking with your itinerary attached. You can also access it before or during a stay by viewing the request under the upcoming stays tab of your inbox.

  • The sitter’s Rover number and address will be displayed if you have booked Dog Boarding or Doggy Day Care.
  • The sitter's Rover number will be displayed if you booked House SittingDog Walking or a Drop-In Visit.
